Heart of Columba
Opened in 2022 to mark the 125-year anniversary of the College, the Heart of Columba, connects past and present, honouring the people, places and moments that have shaped St Columba’s since its foundation in 1897.
Within this dedicated display space, a carefully curated selection from the College Archives offers a window into our rich heritage. Throughout the year, displays of uniforms, photographs, reports, programs and treasured artefacts reveal stories of learning, faith, service and achievement across generations. Each item contributes to a broader narrative, one that celebrates continuity while inviting reflection on how our values and traditions continue to guide us today.
The Heart of Columba both preserves and challenges us. It reminds us who we have been, calls us to recognise the gifts handed down through generations, and invites us to respond faithfully to the needs of our time as we continue to shape the evolving story of St Columba’s College.
