St Columba's Day, Uniform and Attendance

The College has noticed an increase in the number of students not wearing their uniform properly, this includes students rolling up their tracksuit pants and wearing extra jewellery.  We have also noticed that winter skirt lengths have shortened as the term has progressed and students have grown.

In relation to the HPE Uniform, students should be wearing runners, not street style shoes such as Adidas or Vans.

Can I ask that parents have a conversation with their daughter regarding uniform regulations and College expectations outlined on page 11 of the College Planner.  We ask for your support and assistance in rectifying uniform issues.

There are a number of students whose attendance is below 90% for the semester.  As a College, we believe that being in a classroom is vital to the learning and wellbeing of students.  It is important to understand that 90% attendance is also a requirement for students applying for co-curricular programs such as overseas study trips and student leadership positions.  Students who are late to school or absent are required to bring a parent note or medical certificate explaining their absence.  Parents can access their daughter's attendance percentage via PAM. The College is currently following up with students and their families whose attendance is of concern. Please contact your daughter's House Teacher or House Leader on 9331 5311 if you have any concerns.

The Care Monkey letter went home last week regarding St Columba's Day and Luna Park. I ask that parents read the letter carefully and contact their daughter's House Teacher if they have any questions.  Parent Permission closes on Monday, 26 June at 4.00pm.
